Social Justice And Equal Opportunity
As a matter of right, all persons must have the opportunity to benefit equally from the resources afforded us by society and the environment. We must consciously confront in ourselves, our organizations, and society at large, any discrimination by race, class, gender, sexual orientation, age, nationality, religion, or physical or mental ability that denies fair treatment and equal justice under the law.

Respect is a word that is known across Detroit! Aretha Franklin performed her song across the word, and the need for respect originated in the streets of Detroit at that time. Honestly we’re not going to ever get away from a need for RESPECT. If we can’t offer respect to one another, then we probably aren’t respecting ourselves either. Respect is a two way street and it’s paved by God between us, we just have to stay on that street and things will be alright!
